A shower waste that shows your tile, not the grate
The shower waste is the fitting you stand on every day, and most of it can disappear. With our Granada you set your own floor tile, up to 10 mm thick, into its 82 × 82 mm tray, so only a thin frame of the finish shows around the 100 × 100 mm grate.
Tile insert shower drain: sizes your plumber needs
The Granada has a Ø45 mm spigot outlet and is 56 mm deep. Give both figures to your plumber before the floor is set out and waterproofed; thicker tiles or stone need a different drain. It's brass, with WaterMark licence WM-040211, and the frame around the grate comes in all six finishes.
Basin pop up waste for basins without an overflow
The Lisbon fits a Ø45 mm hole in a basin 25 to 50 mm thick, with a Ø66 mm cap and a 32 mm (1¼″ BSP) outlet. It is for basins without an overflow; a basin with one needs a slotted waste, which we don't sell. How to choose a basin waste explains the difference.
Bottle trap under a wall-hung basin
When the basin hangs on the wall, the trap is on show, and a white plastic one under a black or brass tap is the first thing you notice. A bottle trap keeps its water seal in a short cylinder rather than a U-bend, so it sits compact and close to the wall. The Firenze suits a waste 65 to 300 mm out from the wall and 45 to 135 mm below the basin, with a 330 mm wall arm on Ø32 mm pipe and a Ø70 mm wall flange.
Matching and fitting
All three are brass and come in the six finishes of our basin taps and showers. A licensed plumber installs them to the NZ Building Code (G12); the order of trades shows when the drain goes in.
Clean the grate and the basin waste cap with warm soapy water, the same as the taps above them. Acidic or chlorine drain cleaners damage the finish on the parts you can see, so keep them away from the grate.
Every product here has the same cover: 15 years on the body, 7 years on cartridges, valves and moving parts, 3 years on the finish and 2 years on washers, seals and O-rings (tapware warranty).
