Which front-lit mirrors are there, and are they better for make-up?

Front-lit means the light comes through the mirror face towards you, so it lights your face more directly than a backlit mirror: the better choice for close make-up and shaving. Our front-lit range is the Framed Positano, Framed Rivera and framed Amalfi mirrors; the Milan, Madrid, Positano, Amalfi, Riviera, Santander and Lucca cabinets; and the Oslo and Sicily make-up mirrors. Do these mirrors plug in, or do I need an electrical worker?

There’s no plug. Every LED mirror and cabinet here is hardwired, so a licensed electrical worker connects it to a 220–240 V supply on the wall behind the mirror. Ask for the supply near the centre of where the mirror will hang, and if you’re renovating, settle that before the wall is lined or tiled. How high should it hang above the tap?

Leave 100–200 mm between the top of the tap (or splashback) and the bottom of the mirror, and never less than 100 mm. With a tall basin mixer, measure from the top of the spout. Decide the height before your licensed electrical worker runs the cable, because the supply sits behind the mirror. Our mirror height guide has the full drawing.

Do the frames match my tapware?

The Framed Positano and Framed Rivera come in Gold, Silver, Black and Gunmetal; the framed Amalfi in Gold, Silver and Black. These are frame colours rather than our tapware finishes, so compare them with your tap in person. Matching mirror frames to tapware.

How long does delivery take, and is it free?

Delivery is free New Zealand-wide, and in-stock orders leave us within 1–2 business days. The 1200 mm and 1500 mm cabinets travel in a wooden crate to your nearest depot for collection. The delivery line on each product page shows when yours should arrive.
