Chrome on a door hinge

Chrome door hardware is 304 stainless steel with a polished finish, not chrome-plated brass. It’s bright and cool, and it suits most door colours. Beside chrome taps the colour can vary slightly, as it can between any brass and stainless pieces. Brushed Nickel is the softer, lower-shine choice.

A wipe with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then a dry, is all it needs. Avoid acid and chlorine cleaners, and scourers. Install it following the instructions supplied. The warranty is 15 years on the body, 7 years on moving parts, 3 years on the finish and 2 years on washers and seals.

The Santorini door handle and Prague door lock are made in Chrome, so the hinges can match the handle and lock on the same door.

The Venezia is also made in Antique Brass, Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gunmetal and Matte Black.
