BEFORE YOU BUY

Choosing bathroom accessories

Three pieces, one finish. The fixing matters more than the rail.

Provence towel rail

600 mm long, 75 mm off the wall, on two 48 mm flanges.

Lille roll holder

165 mm long, 65 mm off the wall, on a 48 mm flange.

Copenhagen robe hook

Projects 45 mm from the wall on a 48 mm flange.

Fix into something solid

A stud or noggin behind plasterboard, or the masonry behind tiles. Ask for noggins at rail height before the wall is lined.

Accessory questions

Luxury bathroom accessories NZ: what should they be made of?

A solid, corrosion-resistant metal. Ours are 304 stainless steel under the finish, with the same 15-year body warranty as our taps.

Do towels dry better on hooks or bars?

On a bar, because the towel hangs open and air reaches both sides. Use the Provence rail for full-size towels and the Copenhagen hook for robes and hand towels.

What do these fix to?

A stud or nog behind the lining, or masonry behind tiles. Plasterboard plugs alone work loose under a daily pull.

Will they match my taps?

Yes, in the same finish: all three come in the six finishes of our tapware.

Is delivery free?

Yes, delivery is free NZ-wide.

Bathroom accessories NZ homes can match to the taps

Our bathroom accessories are a small set of three, made to match the tapware rather than to fill a catalogue: a 600 mm rail, a toilet roll holder and a hook, each in 304 stainless steel and the same six finishes as our taps. Delivery is free NZ-wide.

Bathroom accessories for wall fixing

All three mount on the wall, so what's behind the lining matters. Fix them into a stud or nog (dwang), or into masonry behind tiles; a rail takes a pull every day and plasterboard plugs alone won't hold it for long. If you're renovating, ask your builder for nogs at rail height before the walls are lined.

Towel rail in the bathroom: the Provence

The Provence single rail is 600 mm long and stands 75 mm off the wall on Ø48 mm flanges, enough room for a folded towel to hang without touching the wall. A rail dries a towel better than a hook because the towel hangs open, so put the rail where the main towels go and use hooks for robes.

Bathroom towel hook and roll holder

The Copenhagen works as a bathroom towel hook or robe hook, projecting 45 mm from a Ø48 mm flange. The Lille toilet roll holder is 165 mm long and sits 65 mm off the wall on the same size flange, so the three read as a set.

How many you need

Most bathrooms take one rail by the shower, a roll holder by the toilet and a hook or two near the door. In an ensuite, a second hook by the vanity holds a hand towel without crowding the rail. All three share the same Ø48 mm flange, so they line up neatly if you mount them at matching heights.

Finishes and care

Choose the finish of your basin tap and the rest follows: antique brass, brushed brass, brushed nickel, brushed gunmetal, black, or chrome, which on these pieces is polished 304 stainless steel. Clean them with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry. Bathroom storage ideas helps plan the wall, and door handles come in the same six finishes.

Every product here has the same cover: 15 years on the body, 7 years on cartridges, valves and moving parts, 3 years on the finish and 2 years on washers, seals and O-rings (tapware warranty).
