Matte Black on a wall spout and mixer
With the spout and mixer both on the wall, black draws a clear dark line above the basin. Matte Black is our darkest, flattest finish and gives the most contrast against white or pale tiles. For something softer, look at Brushed Gunmetal.
Fingerprints and water spots show more on a matte finish than a brushed one, but they wipe off easily. Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it. Don’t use acid, chlorine or scourers. The finish has a 3-year warranty and the tap body 15 years. Both pieces go into the wall, so they need a licensed plumber, installing to the NZ Building Code (G12). That’s a condition of the warranty too.
For the basin, the Lisbon pop-up waste and Firenze bottle trap are made in Matte Black, and so are the Provence towel rail and Copenhagen robe hook for the wall.
The Milano Wall Spout Plus Wall Mixer is also made in Antique Brass, Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gunmetal and Chrome.
