Questions about the Milan Cabinet
Do I need an electrician, or can I plug it in?
It’s hardwired, so there’s no plug. A licensed electrician connects it to a 220–240 V supply behind the cabinet, to AS/NZS 3000.
Can it be recessed into the wall?
Yes. Recess the body into a framed wall cavity so only the door sits in front of the wall, or fix it flat to the wall. The installation manual shows both methods.
How big an opening do I need?
The opening is the cabinet body plus 5 mm in width and height; the mirror door covers the edge. The body is 98 mm deep, so the cavity needs at least that much depth. Measure the body before you cut.
Is there a power point inside?
Yes. There’s an IP-rated 10 A outlet in the top section of the cabinet, so a toothbrush or shaver can charge out of sight.
Does it have anti-fog, and how does it work?
Yes. The demister has its own touch button and switches itself off after one hour. Turn it on before you shower for the clearest result.
Can I change the light colour and brightness?
You can switch between warm, neutral and cool white light and dim it. The light has a CRI above 90, so skin tones look natural.
If I turn it off at the wall switch, does it come back on by itself?
Yes. When the power comes back on, the light comes back on by itself.
How fast will it arrive?
In-stock orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and delivered free in 2–5 business days. Some larger sizes are collected from your nearest depot; the line beside Add to cart shows when this applies.
Is it safe to install in a bathroom?
It’s rated IP44 and RCM compliant. Your electrician confirms the position suits the bathroom zones in AS/NZS 3000.
Where should the electrician leave the cable?
Behind the top of the cabinet. The supply lead leaves the back of the cabinet at the top, so the connection stays hidden.
How do I connect Bluetooth?
Press the Bluetooth button, then choose “Invogue Mirrors” in your phone’s Bluetooth list. The range is up to 10 metres.
What’s the warranty?
2 years, including the LED lighting and electrical components. It’s in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 77 reviews.
Absolutely love this mirror! Decided to recess it into the wall and that was not a cheap exercise and did effect the sound a bit, but it was worth it! Pity the shelves aren't adjustable would be my only gripe as you can't fit our rechargeable toothbrushes inside on any shelf! Apart from that I love it!
The Milan cabinet is perfect! It’s very spacious inside, with the addition of a mirrored finish. The Bluetooth and speakers is a great addition and good quality. We’re thrilled with our cabinet.
Overall pretty good. Couple of things. We had to open the package and remove packaging to be able to adequately check for damage which had to happen before installer was scheduled. Not ideal. Re: interior design, an extra power outlet would be good. We have at least 3 devices and double adaptors or power boards aren't really suitable
love this product; it’s excellent!
this mirror is well worth the money, i find it so good for getting ready for outings with the built in speakers which by the way have excellent sound quality with good volume also. the lighting is very bright and illuminates the whole bathroom which is what I wanted. the demister works great too, turn it on before your shower and afterwards the mirror is still looking mist free perfect. I really do love this product thanks very much for delivering such a modern mirror with cabinet space inside. such a good space saving piece.
