Care. Use a soft microfibre cloth with water or mild soapy water, then dry it with a clean, dry cloth. Don’t use abrasive cleaners or chemical sprays.
Installation, made simple
- 1
Surface-mounted
The Amalfi fixes flat to the wall; it isn’t designed to be recessed.
- 2
Connected by a licensed electrical worker
It’s hardwired. The supply lead leaves the back of the cabinet at the top, so the connection stays hidden behind it.
- 3
Delivered safely, or replaced

Questions about the Amalfi Cabinet
How high above the tap should it go, so the doors clear it?
Leave 100–200 mm between the top of the tap (or splashback) and the bottom of the cabinet, and never less than 100 mm. The doors swing out over the basin, so that gap keeps them clear of the tap.
How do I connect Bluetooth?
Press the Bluetooth button, then choose “Invogue Mirrors” in your phone’s Bluetooth list. The range is up to 10 metres.
Which way do the doors open, and will they hit a wall?
One centre door opens. It’s 447 mm wide and hinged on the left; the right-hand side holds the electrics and doesn’t open. Check the door swing on the spec drawing before you fix it beside a wall.
Is it safe in a bathroom?
Yes. It’s rated IP44, which means it’s protected against splashing water, and it’s RCM compliant. Because it’s hardwired, a licensed electrical worker installs it and confirms the bathroom zone and RCD protection under AS/NZS 3000. The zones depend on where your bath, shower and screens are.
What size suits my vanity?
We generally recommend the largest size that's no wider than your vanity. When in doubt, size up, if the space allows it; if a side wall, tiles or the door make it tight, go one size down. Use ‘Check it fits your vanity’ above: enter your vanity width and it picks the largest size that fits.
How does the anti-fog work?
An anti-fog pad behind the mirror gently warms the glass, so it stays clear after a hot shower. Press the demister button to turn it on and again to turn it off; it also switches itself off after an hour. Turn it on before you shower for the clearest result.
Can it be recessed into the wall?
No. It’s surface-mounted only, fixed flat to the wall.
Is there a power point inside?
Yes: an IP-rated 10 A outlet at the top, to the right of the door that opens, so a toothbrush or shaver can charge out of sight.
Can I change the light colour and brightness?
Yes: warm, neutral or cool white, and you can dim it. The light has a CRI above 90, so skin tones look natural.
Where should the electrical worker leave the cable?
There’s no plug — it’s hardwired. Leave the supply behind the top of the cabinet, where the lead comes out of the back, so the connection stays hidden.
Can it go on plasterboard or tiles?
Yes, as long as the fixings go into something solid: the studs or noggins behind plasterboard, or the masonry behind tiles. Plasterboard alone won’t hold it.
Do I need an electrical worker, or can I plug it in?
You need a licensed electrical worker. It’s hardwired to a 220–240 V supply, so there’s no plug.
How fast will it arrive?
In-stock orders leave us within 1–2 business days, and delivery is free. The delivery line beside Add to cart shows when yours should arrive, and whether a large size is collected from a depot.
If I turn it off at the wall switch, does it come back on by itself?
Yes. When the power comes back on, the light comes back on by itself, with the colour and brightness you last used.
What’s the warranty?
2 years, including the LED lighting and electrical parts, on top of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Full warranty details

Love how the soft-close mechanism works every time.
This mirror has transformed my space! The defogger is fast, and the color-changing backlight adds such a modern touch to my bathroom.
A good product for the price. The defogger and backlight are standout features, though the Bluetooth speakers aren't as powerful as I'd hoped.
